Dates shift with your latitude — they are calculated from your local last-spring-frost date, not from a fixed calendar.

Practical notes
Plant against a warm, sheltered wall and prune only in deep winter — cut in spring and the vine bleeds sap badly. Thin the bunches and strip leaves around them in August to let the sun in.
Knowing when to pick
Grapes do not ripen after picking — taste a berry from the bottom of the bunch, the last part to sweeten. Cut the whole bunch with a short piece of stem.
Storing the crop
Two weeks in the fridge on the bunch, unwashed. Freeze single berries for a summer snack.
Crop rotation
No strict rotation group — still avoid replanting into the same soil year after year.
